The Wolwedans Desert Academy is managed and governed by The Wolwedans Foundation. The Foundation has a Board of Trustees chaired by Stephan Bruckner, Founder of The Foundation.  

The board of The Wolwedans Foundation are responsible for the governance of both the Wolwedans Desert Academy as well as the Namibian Institute of Culinary Education, located in Windhoek. They are eligible to steer the non-profit organisation, ensuring that The Wolwedans Foundation's integrity and processes are adhered to, current and maintained. 

The Board rely on input from the industry to steer the Foundation and its Vocational Training facilities in the direction of 21st century efficiency and relevance. As the organisation grows, it continues to reach out to corporate and industry roleplayers to support its vision.
